About the Wellbeing Scan
If you have arrived in your third trimester you are probably most excited, as you are starting to think of your baby’s arrival.
In case you have suffered any complications in any previous pregnancies or you simply wish to make sure everything is going appropriately, a wellbeing scan is recommended.
You should expect a personal and comfortable experience during this scan at Baby Scan Clinic.
What to expect on the day
One of our best sonographer’s will make some measurement of your baby in order to check its growth rate and check the position of the placenta and the amount of amniotic fluid present. Following this you will know how your baby is developing as you are approaching the final stages of the pregnancy.
Everything in the sonographer’s notes and related to the measurements will be recorded on a printed report which you may take home after the end of the appointment.
Preparing for the Wellbeing Scan
Having a full bladder during your wellbeing scan is not necessary so feel free to eat and drink anything you wish that day. Please remember that you should wear loose clothing so that our sonographer may direct the probe at your abdomen.
